Does The System Work?
FACTS
- The tabulator holds 5000+ ballots in the main bin
- Inside the bin is the special box for ballots with a write-in vote
- Capacity of the special bin is 150 ballots
- In order to empty the special bin a person would have to open the machine
- Once the machine is certified and locked for election no one can open it
The Secretary of Sate stated in a court response that every write-in ballot will be counted no matter the capacity. We question how every write-in vote can be counted if capacity in the special bins are reached. Opening the machines to empty the full bin is not an option, without causing major legal issues. The Secretary of State did not have an adequate answer for this question.
